Focus on collaboration and exchange between the different participants
As a CX/UX Lead designer, I really wanted to understand and empathise more deeply with my Product Manager counterparts - so that we can share a common vision, vocabulary, as well as experiences and practical frameworks & approaches - and leverage those towards an even more rewarding collaboration. I learned a great deal about what Product Managers value, how they work, what their challenges, experiences, needs, and methods were, and where our commonalities lie.
The Product Growth Leaders Fundamentals course provided great context and interaction on the Product Management function across a variety of industries and organisations, as well as practical, applicable know-how that I am confident will be of great value on-the-job. Steve's stories were also funny, spot on - and I am glad that he dedicated time in each session to focus on collaboration and exchange between the different participants.
